July 2025 : SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS LIFE SENTENCE of #ShubhaShankar - one of the oldest case of #HusbandMurder that are happening everyday in India now

Shubha conspired with her lover Arun to get her fiance Girish, a software engineer with Intel murdered. While Girish lay on death bed, she kept helping all the murderers to abscond 

Though sentence has been upheld, it's very disturbing that SC has called this cold blooded murder a "misjudged rebellion" and "romantic delusion" 

SC has also given Shubha, her lover arun & other accomplices X weeks of time to approach Governor of Karnataka for mercy plea
