Autodesk stock rallied after filing an update with the SEC. The company said it remained focused on organic growth and "targeted and tuck-in acquisitions." It will also continue a share repurchase program.

Autodesk is no longer pursuing an acquisition of software firm PTC, according to Bloomberg. “Despite low antitrust regulatory resistance and a scale-up in key markets (CAD, PLM), the hefty price tag, financial constraints and resistance from Starboard Value were likely negative factors against a deal this size,” Bloomberg Intelligence analyst Niraj Patel said in a note.

Shares of $ADSK are currently up more than 5%.
