⚡️Shmyhal to step down as Prime Minister — and become Ukraine’s Defense Minister

Volodymyr Zelensky has announced a government reshuffle: Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal will leave his post and take over as Ukraine’s Minister of Defense. His position may be filled by Yuliia Svyrydenko, who has already been nominated as the next Prime Minister.

Current Defense Minister Rustem Umerov is expected to become Ukraine’s new ambassador to the United States.
