✨The Moment Things Took Off - Breakthrough

In 2020, Phillips joined Polychain Capital, one of the biggest venture funds in crypto. As a Partner on the Ventures team, he led investments, contributed to governance, and dug deep into the emerging DeFi ecosystem.

His work with BadgerDAO, a project that brought Bitcoin into DeFi, exposed a key flaw: Bitcoin still wasn't truly integrated into decentralized finance in a scalable, trustless way.

That insight sparked a bigger idea - and eventually, a new company.
