One last thing to add to why the majority of my  $RIOT calls are dated for January -

Previous breakouts / squeezes for RIOT saw the entire move to the upside happen in ~100 days.

While I strongly believe we see a breakout of this channel happen sometime soon (especially considering previous breakouts coincided with BTC breaking all time highs), I don't know exactly when it'll happen.

Jan '16 calls are XXX days away from expiry.

This gives several months of buffer room for this move to get started / complete from the XXX days I expect they'll need based on previous moves.

The September calls I have are basically a shorter term bet on the initial IV pop that we'll see when this breaks out of the channel. *If* it plays out the way I think it will, I can take some of the profit from these and cover initials, and then consider either rolling it into more leaps or rotating the capital elsewhere.
