BYTEDANCE DEVELOPING MIXED REALITY GOGGLES 

ByteDance is working on lightweight mixed reality goggles, per The Information, signaling it’s not done with AR/VR despite prior setbacks. The device, part of a longer-term effort code-named Swan, follows a similar path to $META's mixed reality push, with Meta’s version expected in 2027.

ByteDance’s Pico unit had previously pulled back after canceling its Pico X headset, but this new move shows the company is staying in the game.
