So, Israel carries out sporadic airstrikes on isolated targets. These targets are Syrian Government Forces but the main force of the attackers are not being targeted. 
Instead, like before: selected armoured vehicles are being struck. 

From the observation it looks like Israel is purely sending signals „we can strike you at will“ yet, what purpose does such signal serve if 
A) Israel doesn’t commit to a series of airstrikes targeting the main attacking force 
B) The attackers keep on attacking undeterred 

It seems like the problem is a political problem. 
It’s not like Israel can’t strike them, they do what they want basically and they have carried out series of airstrikes before without any ground forces coordinating the strikes.
