Yes, autopen pardons are generally considered legal as long as the president personally authorizes the use of the autopen and makes the decision to grant the pardon. 

Legal experts and past Justice Department opinions have found nothing in the Constitution that requires a handwritten signature for pardons, and previous administrations have used autopen signatures for official acts. 

The only scenario where a pardon could be challenged is if it was signed by autopen without the president's knowledge or consent, but there’s no evidence that’s happened. 

Congress is considering a bill to ban autopen use for pardons, but as of now, pardons signed by autopen remain valid.
