BUHARI: FEDERAL GOVT DELEGATION AWAITING REPATRIATION PROCEDURES - SHETTIMA 

Vice President Kashim Shettima has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late President Muhammadu Buhari in London, shortly after arriving to escort the former leader’s body back to Nigeria on the directive of President Bola Tinubu.

Footage from the residence shows a visibly distraught Aisha Buhari surrounded by family and close associates in mourning.

Shettima also visited the late President’s nephew, Mamman Daura, who is said to be recuperating at a London hospital.

The vice president  is leading the official delegation sent by President Tinubu, which includes the Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar, and Deputy Chief of Staff Senator Ibrahim Hadejia.

The team is awaiting the final documentation and medical procedures ahead of the repatriation of President Buhari’s remains.
