A spokesperson for ‘Sesame Street’ confirms to Variety that Elmo’s X’s account was hacked:

“Elmo’s X account was briefly compromised yesterday by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts. The account has since been secured.”
