Ayrton Senna (McLaren-Honda-MP4/6) was classified 4th, despite running out of fuel on the last lap. Nelson Piquet was 5th in a Benetton-Ford-B191. Bertrand Gachot, 6th in his Jordan-Ford-191, was the last point scorer.
