Regardless of whatever these "gaming companies" say, never, ever destroy your games. If you can still play them, keep them. Who cares what the EULA says. 

It is yours. You paid for it, you keep it, you play it. No legal bullshit will hold up in court. Why? Because you aren't aware of the EULA until you've paid for the game & it's staring you in the face. It is too late after the point of purchase. If they really wanted you to know this, it would be a presale condition. 

Too many of their games are now "requiring internet" to install, or show, "no offline mode" meaning that if & when they take this off of sale, you are brute forced out of your game.

Fucking ridiculous.
