Eggs were hurled at devotees during the annual ISKCON Rath Yatra in Toronto, triggering outrage and accusations of racism and xenophobia. Participants were singing devotional songs when the attack occurred. Former Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik condemned the act, calling it deeply hurtful to Lord Jagannath’s devotees, and urged the MEA to take it up strongly.
