Bitcoin $BTC hit a fresh all-time high of $XXXXXXX this morning. 

This comes as the U.S. House of Representatives kicks off its “Crypto Week,” where policymakers will consider three “landmark” pieces of legislation surrounding digital assets. Here’s what to know about each.

– The CLARITY Act would set a regulatory framework for exchanges, brokers and other market participants to encourage industry innovation. It would also clarify the roles of the SEC and CFTC in asset oversight.

– The Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act would prohibit Federal Reserve banks from issuing a central bank digital currency (CBDC) directly to protect Americans' financial privacy.

– The GENIUS Act would establish rules for issuers of U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoins.
