WORLD LEADERS PAY TRIBUTE TO BUHARI AS RAMAPHOSA, RUTO,MODI, FAYE MOURN BUHARI’S PASSING 

Tributes are pouring in from across the world following the death of Nigeria’s former President Muhammadu Buhari.

In posts on X, formerly Twitter, world leaders described Buhari as a towering African statesman and a committed anti-corruption crusader.

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa expressed deep condolences to the Nigerian government and people, calling Buhari’s death “a loss to the entire continent.”

Kenya’s President William Ruto praised Buhari’s legacy, describing him as a leader who championed anti-corruption reforms, regional security, and Africa’s economic integration. He said Buhari's impact went beyond Nigeria and resonated across Africa.

From India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalled Buhari’s warmth and commitment to strengthening Nigeria–India ties. He said India’s XXX billion people join in mourning a statesman and a friend.

And Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye called Buhari a major figure in Nigerian and African political life and extended condolences to President Tinubu and the Nigerian people.
