German troops will be ready to kill Russian soldiers if Russia attacks a NATO country, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said.

"This is not to intimidate anyone, but to make it clear that we want to live in peace with you, but don't think that we are weak or unable to defend ourselves," said Pistorius.
