After finishing in last place, 🇰🇷 South Korea has been officially relegated from the VNL and is expected to compete in the AVC Nations Cup next year, where 🇻🇳 Vietnam has dominated the past three editions without dropping a single match.

While Vietnam is currently ranked 26th, South Korea sits lower at 37th, but showed notable improvement throughout this year’s VNL. Meanwhile, Vietnam continues its steady climb in the world rankings.

The last two meetings between these two squads were in the 2022 Asian Games and the 2023 Asian Championship, where Vietnam won both matches, both via reverse sweep, and notably, without star opposite Bích Tuyền.
