China Deflation Contagion: Crude Oil, Iron Ore vs. Gold, Copper - Record-setting US-traded copper may be a distraction from deflationary forces in China, favoring gold vs. most commodities. Rapidly rising money supply in the largest commodity importer is failing to stop persistently negative producer prices, and falling government bond yields, iron ore and crude oil. Copper may be the next domino.
