Totally agree.

But I'd add... products also don’t succeed just because they're solving "real" problems. They succeed when those problems are solved in a way that fits how people actually live and trade.

Especially in fragmented markets like Africa, usability beats elegance every time.

Then again, true usability cannot be possible without a committed team.
