Peter Schiff’s 2019 tweet saying “Bitcoin is never going to hit $100,000!” turned out to be incorrect—Bitcoin reached $XXXXXXX for the first time on December 4, 2024, driven by ETF demand, the halving, and major political events.

Schiff has since acknowledged this, stating in July 2025 that he now believes Bitcoin will go to $100,000, reversing his earlier prediction.
