Even $meta doesn’t give a break down. Most of that single item data center purchases, but there are enormous costs for energy and cooling. The big issue is those data cards being h100s are already way behind h300 so now you have to keep spending to start rotating in more capable cards or risk falling substantially behind. Ie the AI bubble. Every year someone is significantly behind on capabilities and needs to upgrade with another $XX billion of chips. $nvda created the perfect bubble that inflates until PE backs out. The focus is always on compute power and superAI over finding viable uses for the technology. $meta realized that and is now buying stakes in small companies and throwing out $X billion pay packages.
