On July XX at Ta Kwai Sanctuary, Bak Dai Sub-district, Phanom Dong Rak District, Surin Province, Cambodian tourists were found visiting Ta Kwai Sanctuary. Some were different from usual lot because some Cambodians were dressed in white and brought offerings to perform a certain ritual. They walked into Ta Kwai Sanctuary, unlike many Cambodian tourists who went inside to admire its beauty. After this Cambodian tourist, dressed in white like a shaman, entered to perform a ritual and chant spells inside the sanctuary, all Cambodian tourists walked out of the sanctuary, leaving only X people who were chanting some spells in Khmer, the exact purpose of which is unknown, but it is thought to be some kind of Cambodian ritual. From the analysis of the incantations that this elderly Khmer woman chanted in Khmer inside the sanctuary, some words used modified parts of the Itipiso chant and were spoken like incantations in Khmer.
