This is such a grounded take composable NFTs didn’t fail, they just needed the right environment to thrive. And Polkadot gave them that.

@rmrkapp wasn’t just ahead of its time — it redefined what NFTs *could* be. Instead of static tokens, we got living, modular assets that could evolve, interact, and plug into larger systems. And that’s exactly what’s needed in gaming, digital identity, and the creator economy.

Now with XCM and growing interest in utility-first assets, that early RMRK DNA is starting to shine. Polkadot didn’t just absorb the vision it’s scaling it.

Composability is no longer optional. It’s the unlock.
