Bread prices in Iran have soared 30–100%, making a basic staple unaffordable for many. Over a third of Iranians live below the poverty line, and some now treat bread as a “luxury.”

In cities like Tehran, long bread lines mirror wartime rationing, and some families are so desperate they’re “leasing” bread. Around XXXXXX bakeries have shut down due to rising costs, worsening shortages.

With XX% inflation, a XX% budget deficit, a collapsing rial, energy crises, and XX% youth unemployment, Iran’s economic collapse is deepening, and even further protests are likely imminent .
