Understanding @CreatorBid V2 pt5: Bittensor SNs

Feat @Defi0xJeff as many of the insights are thanks to his write-ups here and in his paid Substack.

The edge CB has is their very strong connection with Bittensor through the TAO council (also owning subnet XX themselves).

I say edge because they solve a core Bittensor problem has; DIstribution.

Subnets are basically the teams utilizing Bittensor’s infra but many of them also need a way to promote their products and funding their development in an additional way.

Currently they only do that through emissions but this has X main problems:

Still most of $TAO are in the Root network and there’s too much competition in receiving the emissions so teams face difficulties.

Plus if you have been in any gcs related to SNs, you will see the speculation is rarely based on fundamentals but more of “this will go up more than the other” plus some insider trading stuff, coldkey swaps etc (shocking I know lol)

CB fixes this problem by offering their platform and community support outside Bittensor eco which is strong but kinda siloed as opposed to Base which is the most popular L2 when it comes to Crypto x AI.

Similar to @rizzy_agent from @desearch_ai , there are many SNs they could promote their MVPs but also having an opportunity to expand their community, hence why we see so strong yapping incentives as the TAO ppl aren’t enough to cover all the XXX subnets XD.

Now regarding token price, normally the mcap should follow this graphic as teams can create many products so their Alpha token should be superior to the AI agent token.

That may not be the case though simply bc of the friction getting an Alpha token has (and the weird volatility which will explore in the Emission part another day).

I do expect though this will be resolved sometime this year and Bittensor will open its doors to all chains (Solana bros gonna love the Subnet Hunger Games).

In a similar manner Virtuals will likely find a way to attract builders from Bittensor to launch through Genesis or whatever form their launchpad takes until then as it happened back in the day with BillyBets and Vader EAO.

This actually is very good from a fundamentals perspective as AI agents and apps will be chain agnostic and accessible to all which should make more fair the value accrued to teams who have found the best PMF + community building.

Jeff has also mentioned some subnets that have a good chance of launching an AI agent through CB;

I personally think an AI agent or more by Subnet XX @SynthdataCo would make a lot of sense, as many perps traders could use highly specialized AI trained in prices forecasting.

Though an Agent from SN96 @flock_io would go brrrrrrr

Anyway if you are still confused about what Bittensor is and its value proposition

“ The AI Bitcoin"-@S4mmyEth

I’ve written an ELI5 guide sometime ago which was well perceived by the community and you can read it here:

It’s mostly up to date, biggest update since then is the introduction of a cap to maximum Subnets that can coexist (128)

That’s a wrap, and i obviously can't wait to $BID the $RIZZY cheers
