One year ago today, we almost lost the last great lion on earth. Like millions of my fellow Americans, July 13th, 2024, was a day we will never forget. It could have been the darkest day in America history. Instead, it became the most inspirational. With all of the heroic might of Washington, President Trump, moments after being hit with an assassin's bullet, stood tall and told each and every one of us to FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT. In that moment, an iconic piece of America was consecrated in the hearts of all patriots. On this day, I will also be praying for the family of our fellow American, Corey Comperatore, who tragically lost his life on that harrowing day in Butler. May he continue to rest in eternal peace.
