Early 20th-century Chinese banknotes look like carpets. The carpet symbolizes the Yuan/Renminbi. In all X scenes, only the bear’s feet cover it (2D). Who else but the People's Bank of China would be allowed on China’s "carpet"? 
Also, it's logo contains a hexadirectional or 6-ray star. @bearableguy123
