Some are run by AI. Some by foreign operatives. Others by bored trolls. But the goal is the same: provoke outrage, hijack attention, and divide communities. And in some cases, they're trying to make some cash. These accounts rack up millions of views. Let’s take a quick look at a particularly obvious one. Case in point: an account literally named BadFaithAct. While most aren’t this blatant, this one gives the game away up front with its name. Every reply is more unhinged than the last, triggering confused or furious responses from real users. It’s pure rage bait...and it works. Look closer and it’s even more transparent. The profile photo? An AI-generated headshot. The link in the bio? A site that sells AI-generated faces. Bottom line: if a reply seems too insane to be real, there's a very good chance it isn't. So stay vigilant, and understand not everything you read here is as it seems.
