But there's no getting around the fact that the mood has changed. Just last year, OpenAI stole the show from Google with a certain amount of cheekiness by presenting a product immediately beforehand that was superior to Google. It was a clear declaration of war: whatever you develop, we are ahead of you. This superiority, at least, no longer exists. Google is ahead in AI video generation with Veo 3, has developed an outstanding LLM with Gemini XXX Pro and DeepMind is literally changing the world.G OpenAI still has the undisputed market dominance. But the technical lead they have had so far must now prove itself. And the postponed OpenSource model and GPT-5, which will probably only be released in late summer, are currently raising more questions than answers. Just last year, OpenAI stole the show from Google with a certain amount of cheekiness by presenting a product immediately beforehand that was superior to Google. It was a clear declaration of war: whatever you develop, we are ahead of you.
