🇺🇸 RAND PAUL: “I’M NOT AN ENEMY OF PUBLIC TV, BUT WE HAVE A $X TRILLION DEFICIT”

Sen. Rand Paul claims he’s not out to kill public broadcasting, but with the U.S. staring down a $X trillion deficit, cuts are on the table.

Congress is expected to vote soon on a major recession relief package that includes proposed reductions in funding for public television.

Asked if he’ll support it, Paul says the Senate vote “will be very close.”
