The girls now bow out of the 2024/2025 season with a remarkable second-place finish in the Kenya Volleyball Federation League, a second-place finish in the Kipchumba Karori Volleyball Tournament and a fourth-place finish in the Kenya Cup Tournament. With two podiums this season, the detectives have secured a spot in the African Volleyball Club Championship while also earning a seat at the highest table of Kenyan volleyball. While delivering the Director of Criminal Investigations, Mr Mohamed Amin's message, the DCI's Director of Liaison and Corporate Communications, Mr John Marete, commended the team for their exemplary performance throughout the season. "As we move forward, I urge each of you to focus on the journey ahead. Visualise our potential and set your sights high. We are capable of remarkable achievements if we continue to support one another and work as a cohesive unit,” he added. The volleyball team manager, Neddy Kilimo, attributes the successful season to the dedication and hard work that the team displayed the entire season, a sentiment echoed by the head coach, Patrick Sang. As the curtains of the 2024/2015 volleyball season close, the DCI Volleyball team leave the stage heads high promising to be a strong title contender next season.
