The fair launch system has really caught up well

We already have quite a few team generating decent revenues for their operations without any reliance on VCs or highly speculative ICO

Look at a few exemples

I like this system. It avoids the predatory tendencies that arise from having to raise all your cash upfront through VCs or ICO in an hype fueled market and let teams generate a more stable  revenue 

This way if the team is serious and keeps shipping they will keep their revenue stream and even increase.

If they are not their revenue will dry up slowly and they won't have the option to go on extended vacation to Dubai with hundreds of millions raised upfront on promises.
