retail is broke and most got wrecked by the bear market:

scams, exchange collapses, memecoin rugpulls, hacks… even Trump tweets. 

to them, BTC feels out of reach now.
If they return, they’ll gamble on alts, not stack sats

the next cycle needs substance.
