This year had a lot of really great games like The Alters, Split Fiction, Oblivion Remaster, Hypercharge etc, AC Shadows was also another pretty good game that will probably graduate up to the great tier once the expansions are out as I feel the story is too incomplete at the moment. Doom The Dark Ages was my biggest let-down this year, just expected a lot more out of it but was felt like it was a big step down from Eternal and Avowed was just not it for me, moving away from all the best parts of Obisdian RPGs to deliver something more surface level missed the mark for me, Outer Worlds X has a big chance at ending up at a much higher tier here tho. If there is a game that you think belongs on this tier list and it isn't, I probably just haven't played it yet! My 2025 games tier list:
Kingdom Come X and Death Stranding X are my GOTYs so far with Clair Obscur Expedition XX and MindsEye (PeaksEye) right behind.
