A few things they aren’t teaching your kids in school:

X. The first battles of the revolution at Lexington & Concord, were sparked over the threat of gun confiscation.

X. The Boston tea party, was not a tax riot so much as a protest over the government granted trade Monopoly

X. Three men set out on XX April in 1775. They rode through Lexington and woke up hundreds of Minutemen to warn of the eminent attack. Paul Revere went to the Hancock house and warned Sam Adams and John Hancock to get out of Lexington, as they were wanted men. Revere was later caught and released by redcoats and never made it to Concord. William Dawes was thrown from his horse and walked back to Lexington. Samuel Prescott was the only rider who made it to Concord.
