AI videos are everywhere and social media platforms still can’t keep up.

TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram say they’re labeling AI content, but the tools are glitchy. Real creators get flagged, while fully AI-made ads slip through with no warning.

One ad with AI-generated moms had a tiny label on YouTube, but none on Instagram. Another featured a beer-chugging alien and ran totally unlabeled.

Creators say it’s ruining their reputation. Experts say the labeling system is a mess.

And most people? They have no clue what they’re actually watching.
