It's not a 'Representative Democracy', no matter how many airheads tell you it is. It's a Representative REPUBLIC, where we elect people to high office in DC to make decisions for us. If Trump was running DC as a 'Representative Democracy', he'd never get anywhere with an America First agenda because he'd be POLLING THE SHIT out of a fickle public every couple of days to see what MOST of them wanted him to do at this particular time. You can't run SHIT effectively that way. Which is why Trump doesn't even attempt it. We elected him to be an AMERICA FIRST Leader and make decisions in fluid and complex and ever-changing circumstances. We don't need him stopping to take a freaking poll and 'read the room' and assess 'the public mood' every X damn minutes. Scott has a point.
It's not a 'Representative Democracy', no matter how many airheads tell you it is.
It's a Representative REPUBLIC, where we elect people to high office in DC to make decisions for us.
