Bearish on $NFLX? Do this ...

Most option traders that are bearish on $NFLX will naturally want to buy a put option expiring right after earnings.

Makes sense, they're betting on a big fall. But because there's so much volatility on those options, they're way overpriced right now.

Earnings hit and if $NFLX falls, but "not enough" the premiums will be sucked out and you'll be right, but NOT making money on your trade.

Because they're overvalued, you'll want to be selling an option (remember, buy low, sell high).

So, you'd have to look at call options that are out of the money enough that you're comfortable. You don't want to be wrong and have the stock skyrocket costing you a lot if it exceeds your strike price.

And of course, you could sell a credit spread to cap your losses if you're wrong.

Our @TradeSmith_TM Platinum Partners just got this Fair Value Curve added to their membership in our platform. It shows how overvalued these options are.

@altause unveiled this concept to me a few months ago and I loved it ... so we built it. We'll be talking about this in our upcoming Platinum Q&A.
