Because the central cardinal features of the “God” described in both religions are very different, irreconcilable and not the same at all. Let me give you a few examples:

In Islamic belief;
God is not a triune entity.
God did not have a Son at all.
God does not have any children.
God did not become a man.
God has no physical form.
God never paid for human sins himself.
God does not live inside anybody.
God does not make anybody His children.
(God does not live inside Muslims, and Muslims are God’s servants- not children).

In christian belief;
God is a Triune Eternal Being (Trinity).
God has a Son who is The Only Begotten.
God became a Man (who is His Son Jesus).
God has a human/physical form in Jesus.
God Himself paid for human sins through Jesus. God now has children through what Jesus did. God is a Spirit living now inside those who believe in His Son Jesus. (God lives inside christians, and Christians are God’s children).

When you compare/contrast the two religions and what they claim about the God they worship, you will see these irreconcilable differences and ultimately arrive at the inevitable conclusion that the Allah in Islam is not the God in Christianity.
