On this day XX years ago, around 1.9billion people tuned in across the world to watch Live Aid. 

Two concerts were organised by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia, with Queen, David Bowie, Madonna and George Michael among the performers.
