Trey Ganem, a Kerrville native and owner of SoulShine Industries, is donating custom caskets to families who lost loved ones in the Hill Country flooding, KHOU reports. His team is working nonstop to provide a dignified farewell for victims, many of them children, free of charge.

"This is the hardest thing a family's going to have to do," Ganem said. "But we are helping with grandparents and fathers and mothers and children."

Ganem has stepped in before, he's the same casket maker who offered his services to families in Uvalde after the school shooting.
Through his nonprofit, he's able to offer these handcrafted caskets at no cost, and the community is once again rising to meet the need, with volunteers helping deliver them across the region.

As the Hill Country mourns, Ganem and his team at SoulShine Industries are offering more than just caskets, they're offering comfort, dignity, and support when it's needed most. ❤️
