You know, back in the 60’s, I was a young kid living in Ohio. I’d sleep in a tent in my backyard with my buddies and we’d play board games (Strat-O-Matic), eat junk and listen to music. 

I remember, implicitly, Buffalo Springfield doing an iconic song, “Stop Children, What’s that Sound.” It was about the political tensions in the US in the late 60s. 

Driving up the I-5  today, I heard it again. I listened to the words. It accurately depicts what’s happening in our country today. We haven’t learned our lessons. We’re doing it again. 

I don’t know if this nation will ever be a “United States” again but I pray so.
