I can’t understand Arsenal’s stance. 

The first team leave for the pre-season tour in Asia in X days and Berta isn’t able to get it over the line thus far. 

They’re happy to drop £50m on ‘squad depth’ in the meantime whilst this signing holds 10x more importance.
