Hinimok ni PCG spokesperson Cmdre. Jay Tarriela ang mga Pilipino na maging mapagbantay laban sa mga maling impormasyon na naglalayong pahinain ang kahalagahan ng arbitral award sa laban ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea.

Taong 2016 nang ipawalang-bisa ng landmark ruling ang nine-dash line ng China at kinondena ang reclamation at militarization activities nito sa mga pinag-aagawang teritoryo.

"This ruling carries undeniable weight, and we cannot allow misinformation to weaken our resolve or the sacrifices of our AFP and PCG in safeguarding our maritime rights and the livelihoods dependent on our seas," saad ni Tarriela.
