@smolprimist the funny part is, so many of the SPX trades actually don't have much directional meaning at all!

they are vol surface plays, margin hedging, cross-asset arbs, structural hedges, etc. etc. 

and then when a real directional bet shows up these guys don't even catch it 🤣
