Senior PM: then you give the plan to AI coding agents and they can work alongside your engineers. You can offload them by giving the AI agents the bug fixing and focus on building the cool features. Like this everyone is happier. Engineers don't need to spend weeks fixing bugs from the previous release and you get your job done. Junior PM: Amazing this sounds great! In one year or two at this pace of improvements AI agents will be able to do even the rest of the work! We'll go so much faster and won't need engineers anymore! Senior PM: yes, and at that point, my friend, we won't be needed too. Junior PM: oh! So what are we supposed to do? Senior PM: Engineers will become PMs and PMs will become engineers.
