Are Federal layoffs more "important" than civilian ones?

Did we see as much MSM outrage for these? Did the politicians grandstand as much?

- **Intel (2024)**: ~15,000 employees let go due to declining semiconductor demand.
- **Tesla (2024)**: ~14,000 workers laid off amid tariffs and sales challenges.
- **Meta (2022)**: ~11,000 employees cut to focus on efficiency and AI development.
