Have yet to see a stable coin backed by gold or silver that is for the people and by the people. The industry dominates the gold and silver pricing, flow and market making activities to a point where prices discovery becomes challenged. There is no way for the public to take delivery in an efficient manner from these programs. As far as I can tell, these stable coins are simply massive profit centers for their sponsors and the industry supporting them. The public is actually the product not the stable coin. 

If gold and silver are to ever be used as currency,  this commodity backed stable coin concept should be for the benefit of the public.  That is what I am working on.
