Some takes on @pumpdotfun sale

- it was for over $1bn, most forgetting the institutional piece 

- if you assume they still have the majority of funds from their past revenues then they could have ~$2bn in the treasury… token would be just 2x cash which is crazy low and gives them lots of firepower

- perps arb was an interesting side effect but people don’t get their tokens instantly. The short side could still get blown out, but buyers may also be waiting for everyone that just got in at 4b to sell

- short term has enough attention to do well, exp if the team uses their money to buyback like hyperliquid did. Seen rumours that XX% of revs will buyback, but no details on past revenue / this sale. 

- medium / long term depends on if revenues continue to stay strong or not

Congrats to the team, I’m glad the on chain stuff worked well and the drama is with the cex side

Let’s continue the narrative… it’s time to bring every user on chain and actually use the tech
