In case anyone cares about the facts: 

All of the direct evidence that Jeffrey Epstein was tied to an intelligence agency:

1) The Daily Beast quoted an anonymous source in 2019 claiming that during his vetting process for the Trump admin, Alex Acosta told those vetting him that the reason he cut Epstein an absurd sweetheart deal on the original charges was that he was told to back off because “Epstein belong to intelligence” (screenshot below)

Interestingly, Acosta has never said something like that publicly. Even when he was defending the deal and somehow has never been confronted with the quote or asked who told him that. This would seem like the easiest way to get to the truth since it is the main evidence cited. 

2) Epstein once allegedly told one of his victims that he worked with the CIA. 

3) There was a 2001 Standard article that mentions Epstein once claimed to work for the CIA but no longer does. (Screenshot included) 

All of the other evidence is circumstantial that essentially amounts to him knowing rich foreign people (UK, Germany, Russia, Israel etc) with connections.
